The Stax Museum of American Soul Music, located at the original site of Stax Records in Memphis, Tennessee, offers a tremendous experience that includes more than 2,000 items of memorabilia, along with interactive exhibits, videos, instruments, stage costumes, and more that tell the story, from beginning to present, of American soul music. Artists highlighted include Isaac Hayes, Booker T. & the M.G.’s, Otis Redding, the Staple Singers, the Bar-Kays, Johnnie Taylor, Little Milton, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Ike & Tina Turner, and hundreds of others.
